ComNet Media Converters with Power over

Ethernet (PoE) feature:

› Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE): Provides 30 watts or

up to 60 watts (PoE+) in A and B modes for high power

demand applications of remote powered devices

› PoE+ Operating Power for IP Cameras, with pan-tilt-

zoom capability

› PoE+ Operating Power for IP cameras with heated/

cooled housings

› PoE+ Operating Power for remote telemetry and

Many applications require power for the Power Sourcing Equipment

(PSE) device be supplied through the Ethernet cable including those

where an Electrical-to-Optical media converter is being used to

extend distances Typical applications can include IP CCTV cameras,

access control equipment, VoIP telephony and more.
